"Piccolo Monster" revived in the present age.

It is not an exaggeration to say that it was created to win in the race scene, the 2 major Italian brands "Ferrari" and "Abarth". "Fiat Abarth 695 Tributo Ferrari" is a dream collaboration model that has been realized through integration under the same Fiat Group.

Both Ferrari and Abarth were established as manufacturers after the end of World War II. Ferrari was established in 1945, and Abarth was established in 1949, becoming world-renowned for its racing cars and GT models. Although Ferrari was good at tuning large displacement and Abarth was good at tuning small displacement, Abarth was sometimes given the nickname "Piccolo Monster" because of his ability to surpass his superior class.

Ferrari and Abarth will be affiliated with the Fiat Group in 1969 and 1971, respectively, in order to stabilize their management in the midst of the changing times. Together, they play an active role in the motor sports scene and build a core fan base in commercial vehicles. From 1981 to 2007, however, as Fiat's motor sports division, Abarth maintained a strong presence in the WRC, WEC and other motor sports events. In 2007, after announcing the revival of the Abarth brand, a collaboration model named after Ferrari, who had evolved within the same group, was born. It was a big topic.

At the Frankfurt Show in 2009, it was announced that 1696 units of the 695 Tributo Ferrari would be produced worldwide. It is based on the Abarth 500 and equipped with specialized parts and tuning menus. The exterior has stripes and carbon parts based on the "430 scuderia" that represents Ferrari of the same age, as well as aluminum wheels and body colors of the same design. In addition, the leather car inspection bags and travel bags bearing the double name and exclusive logo were made by the long-established bag brand "Tramontano", which was founded in Naples, Italy in 1865. The 695 Tributo Ferrari, full of special items, quickly sold out.

Shoujiro Kuwano's Highlights!

A small body with sharp stripes by re-attaching decal to Rosso Corsa, which still has strong color. This car, which is one owner and 10 years old since it was newly built, has a comfortable ride and a good impression.

The current owner was originally the owner of the Ferrari 430 Scuderia, and later he received the Abarth 695 Tributo Ferrari announcement and placed an order. Every time I got in the car since it was delivered in 2009, I got hooked on the ease of driving and the fun of driving, and I heard that the car was customized for daily use.

A number of carbon parts and leather items have been added to the exterior and interior to create a more special look (The details are explained in the photo caption.). It has been owned for 10 years and the mileage is in the 50,000 km range, so the deterioration over time seems to be a natural level.

What is noteworthy about this car is the solid body with a lot of rigid parts and a driving plunger with a custom tuning based on pressure points. Mainly made by the Orque technique ideale, it has been upgraded from the undercarriage to the brakes, and the integration of the QUAIFE LSD has greatly improved cornering immunity.

The engine is CPU tune, FORGE intercooler kit, BMC air cleaner, etc., and the torque and acceleration are improved, so I tend to step on it unintentionally. It was not radical at all, and I felt that the good response which followed the driver's intention faithfully showed the sense of unity of this car.

In 2019, the 100 year anniversary of Abarth's death, the current owner decided to sell the property in order to review his age and the environment around him. Actually, when I got on this 695 Tributo Ferrari, I got hooked on the charm of Abarth and bought the yellow Fiat Abarth 750 GT Zagato on CARZY in 2011. This time, they are planning to sell two Abarth at once and buy a new one, so they will negotiate the price to some extent.
